no eddie.these crackers were made by me and my boy sebs as a christmas mailout for Madmedia.after screenprinting my illustrations we cut+folded+glued+tied 100 of these beauts in time for christmas.phew! seems like years ago already.actually im quite happy about that memory being distant.
easily one of my favourite days in 2009 came right at the end, just before christmas.my beautiful friend Bishi asked me to make her a necklace for her portrait with SHOWstudio's Nick Knight, part of his 100 portraits project celebrating 30 years of i-D magazine.here are some of my shots of bishi backstage and in the studio at Somerset House.what a thrill to be able to watch Bishi wearing my piece, whilst she is photographed by THE Nick Knight! what a guy.non stop charming.Thankyou to my girl Fred Butler.without her friendship this year, id have never made it to this place.Fred watched the live stream of this shoot excitedly from her studio and took some screen grabs of NIck and Bishi at work.look here.

fred and me made things together for the selfridges christmas windows.i was in charge of doggy crowns.as always, bloody good times with my girl butler.however she has a penchant for a pussycat and so our doggy couture went feline, in a specail commission for everyones favourite ginger (bar boris becker and belinda carlisle) Ron!
the greatness that is Matthew Herbert, here on set for his new video wearing a bowtie i made him.last month i got to see him playing live at the Barbican with my wonderful friend Fred Butler.we nodded and whooped and bounced all night.i made a special black kryptonite bowtie for the performance.more pics of that to follow.big love to rowdy superstar for being cilla black and introducing us.im so excited to do more for this whole fresh family in the new year.
